Connect the end of the track whith rail joiners and check the rail whith an NMRA gauge and now solder one or two PC ties or spike down the track to the ties.

WebMar 7, 2024 · The jigs were designed when they were using stamped pcb ties. I suspect the thickness has changed by 0.1 mm or so. Now the regular ones are a bit too thick for the jig. They also have 1/32" thick ones that are too thin. This turnout I'm using the regular too-thick ties, and so the rail has a tendency to get pushed up by them out of the jig slot.
