WebFeb 27, 2024 · They replaced the injector but now the engine has a knocking noise when at 1100-1500 RPM only under load and goes away at higher RPMs or at idle. Thinking it might be a problem with the other injectors we replaced the other injectors and found them to be worn. Copper gaskets were there though. Engine knocking is still there. Mine was not leaking and apparently this is kinda a normal noise, lol.

It's referred to as "Typewriter Noise". A bunch of people have it (myself included). It usually is worse right after an oil change. Annoying, but normal. As odd as it sounds, I think it's related to the oil filter. I travel, and use whomever for an oil change.
