WebStevens Winery is the class of Woodinville wineries at this price point. Their XY is probably my favorite wine. The 424 red blend has been delightful each year I’ve had it. The Black Tongue Syrah is delicious each year. These big reds deserve a few years in the cellar, so don’t be shy, invest now and enjoy them even more in a few years. WebCarmen Stevens's Story "I qualified in 1995 from Elsenberg College in South Africa. I started my winemaking career with Stellenbosch Farmer’s Winery. At the end of the year 2000 I was appointed wine maker within the Stellenbosch Vineyards group, as site wine maker for the Welmoed premises. In 2005 I was appointed wine maker for Amani Vineyards.
